    yes thats the point why dont they show it just before u tee off or after u finished even if it isnt filled.

    I think looking at what the leading score is before you tee off, puts more pressure on you to try and beat it.

    I agree with you Roger, when we had the option before to see scores I never looked at them until after I played.  I think not knowing the scores takes away all the pressure and helps you to shoot lower.  When you know the score you have a number in your head that sometimes takes away from you concentrating on your play.

    well it depends on the player i like to see the scores, so then i know, ok i can really give this a go.

    Now i see a score of 62 as average, and might get my $1 back, or if lucky up to $2.  I was lucky yesterday, and came 3rd with a 61 at St Andrews with what i'd call an average score for that course.  I actually came first one day with a 59, but was tied 5th the next with same score. With new equipment, you need to at least score better than -10/-11 at say st andrews to double up, where as -8 might break even, then above this a bit of proffit.  Evey Ready go will give a different outcome, but you will definitely not win with a 62.
