Just voicing my opinion here, but I think the putting grid should stay as is, and only to be seen by the player making his shot or putt. Some of us, play Alt shot matches on the ladder site, I feel there it would give to much advantage in some cases. Just my 2 cents on that.
What I'd like to see from WGT, is practice rounds available on tournament greens. Hey! just sayin, I'm older and sometimes forget the simple, and accidentally post rounds in the 40's because I'm practicing in stroke play mode, and Yes, I do that only because there are no practice rounds available on tournament greens. I think everyone could benefit if that was available. Also as a Legend and the same goes for Tour Masters, we are set at tournament green speeds, where else can we practice but in stroke play mode.
Changing pin location, Humm I am not computer program smart, but I would think if WGT had the layouts for all the greens, they would be able to move the cup/pin where ever they seen fit to. Hey! I could be very wrong in my thinking, but with a mechanical back ground in engineering, I can only think there's a possibility.
One more thing! I'd like to see a true straight forward putting grid from player to cup/pin, not these oblique angles we have now on some putts, sheesh the variances on different greens and there roll speeds are tough enough. LOL
Yeah, I maybe a Legend, but it only disguises the hack I truly am. WGT, give us some tournament greens to practice on. And if they are in this next update, then I thank you.
