I have been using the Tour-SD ball the E-S ball and the Bx-D ball. I will still use the Callaways for the special tourneys but only for those. And they save me a lot of credits.

I used to think the same way when using the Tour-SDs. The cost difference turns out to be minimal because of the difference in durability with the cheapest Callaway ball.

Jim the cost factor as I said was a plus. Not the main reason that I stopped using the Callaways. I feel that I need to use the lesser balls to make myself improve in every aspect of my game.  Sure I could probably shoot better and have an easier time doing it with the Callaways but I really feel the need to prove myself to my self using the lesser balls.

Hmmm, sounds like you think the ball makes the score. Not. The trade off for having the playability of the Callaway is the penalty for mishitting it or using the spin wrong. The ball actually forces you to not only hit better shots but to think long about how to control the distance and landing.

p.s., Dude, you are driven! 3 months to Legend!!  (Heh-I remember your first posts about the experience here and the basic who-the-f-cares responses.)  LOL.  WTG.   :-)

Actually, almost 4 months.  A formerly very very good friend called me gifted.

I think that sometimes, then I see Legends that are level 60 and think 'How the hell...?".  I was so naive... posting my experiences thinking someone might want to read them or learn from my trials and errors, jumping in to defend those being unfairly wronged.  Youknow what they say:  No good deed goes unpunished and I have been told no one gives a damn, so I don't post them any more.  There are still one or two that persist in the notion I have been here before.  I thought natural selection would have taken care of them by now, but then I got a post on my wall the other day from some donkey's behind.

Funny thing is, Jim... I really feel like I just figured out how to play this game in the last few weeks.  Took me three months to break 30 or 62.  In the last three weeks I have shot a 27, 2 28s, 2 29s, a 58, a 59.  And now the broken record portion of this post:

    It's all about the putting.
