Is there a reason why the free tourneys almost always have to be heavy winds and tournament greens?

The free weekly tourneys are tier based so you only play against players in your respective tier, so why always have the same conditions week after week, month after month?

There are many different combinations of winds, green speeds, tee boxes and pin placements available to be used.

I understand having tougher conditions in the premium tourneys, but surely the free tourneys can be treated as a more fun and relaxed environment to compete in.

Changing playing conditions may cause less players becoming frustrated with playing the same thing over and over again. Is there something bad about having the legends play on slow greens every once in a while? Personally I think that would be rather fun to play on.

The fact that the conditions never change make me believe that any idea that the players may come up with aren't much of a factor into improving this game and making it more fun for the players.

If I am wrong here, prove me wrong and mix it up a little.

I agree completely. Mix it up WGT.

I suspect it's done to try to keep scores down. Unless, you want to try to breaking 24's or so. But, i will mention it  :)

Why does it matter to you what the scores are? - Isn't this meant to be for the players, and if the majority don't want constant high winds shouldn't you listen?

The higher the winds the more likely you are to lose balls!

It's not about playing in high winds all the time or losing balls, which are lost more due to jumpy meters rather than the high winds. It's about having more fun out there in different conditions, after all, isn't this game supposed to be fun? Do the pro's play every round from the back tees?

    Hi

so far only 2-3 people said this and I did not disagreed with it. I simply postulated a guess why it may happen:)

Nevertheless, I will ask to see if we can have more variety down the line:)

Thanks Icon. Variety is the spice of life, or so they say. I only mentioned it to see if some of the fun can be brought back to this game. People complained about scores of 50 in the Ketel champs because they were mostly scored by legends, but the free weekly tourneys are tier based so legends will only face legends.

hey icon...on this subject, how about bumping up the winnings a little?!?!

bit measly at the minute..just a thought :)

just think, more players will play = more balls been used = more cash 4 you

    win win situation
