    pecanvalley:

I am a club owner and want to know what will happen to the club if I transfer ownership to someone else but leave the club before that person accepts ownership?

Owners have no option to leave their CC.

Until the other accepts, you remain the owner and can't quit.

    I beg to differ.

Owners can turn away from their CCs and from the game, but they can't officially leave or quit their CC nor expel themselves - there is no option in the software.

You being a responsible person will want to insure at least the possibility of longevity and success for your CC .

And, coming from the "Grammar Police" thread, please allow me to ask you how to find the success insurance?

As someone originally from the UK I always use 'ensure' in this context, but since I've been living in North America 'insure' seems to be the more common usage. The jury seems to be out on whether 'ensure' and 'insure' are interchangeable, but for me 'insure' will only relate to financial matters.

So while I personally agree with you on the word usage I just wanted to point out that in North America at least it's not quite that cut and dried.

Here in the USA it's also a healthy option for old geezers, like me... :)  Mike W.

there are hundreds of CC's who's owners have abandonded them .

I'm with you on that. It's only a technical or verbal difference which I wanted to point out.
