Have to agree joni I personally hate this action as you right said you are afraid that they will just stop and leave you there having to get out and start a new game surely penalties can be introducede to lessen this problem

I have been playing for about 1 month.  Made pro status,  bought clubs that should make me hit longer and play better.  The swing speed screws everything up rarely can I hit a decent drive.  Playing tournaments is a joke!  Conditions are so hard the average player cant compete,  It was fun when I started but the clubs dont make it better but make it harder.  I personally will not play anymore and will not recommend it to anyone else.  As a matter of fact, the people I did tell I am going to tell them how I feel.  It is a shame you have such a nice site but dont make it fun.

How does any body think this is like real golf. In real golf you don't hit a 145 yd club with an eighteen mph wind at your back, nail it perfect with a good long distance ball and the ball goes 142 into a bunker. Than hit a 210 yd club uphill with 14 mph wind and it goes 285. W.T.F. I still like the game but there are a few rinkles that need to be worked out with wind and distance.

Wait til you buy new clubs so you can play better and you can't hit them right because the swing meter is so fast.  It takes any enjoyment out of the game.  You can't play good courses as a beginner because you can't drive it far enough then you buy a driver it it moves so fast you can't hit it straight.

When I play a round the game will not post my scores or records on my profile. Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with my profile??

You're playing Closest To The Hole format. If you want to play stroke you need to go to 1 of the 4 courses available for this-Kiawah, Bethpage, Oakmont and St. Andrews.  GL

Hey Foxtrotvicta.. as YJ says you need to get to the Stroke Play courses.

There was a thread awhile back, still think it's relevant... that said:

    WGTniv:

Just follow the steps below to play some stroke play:

    1. Click the PLAY NOW button in the top left.
    2. In the game-client under SINGLE PLAYER GAME click on  SELECT COURSE.
    3. Stroke Play is available for the BETHPAGE BLACK, KIAWAH ISLAND and ST. ANDREWS courses. You can choose any one.
    4. Choose the STROKE PLAY option.
    5. Choose RANKED(recorded stats) or PRACTICE (no recorded stats)
    6. Choose the # of holes - Full 18, Front 9,  Back 9 or 3-hole practice.
    7. Click TEE OFF.

That should do it.  For a full list of play options be sure to check out the Playing FAQ.

    Good Luck =)
