g'day, i was just playing a practice round at Olympic, and played my second shot which landed on the green, then a notice came up telling me my ball had been taken out of play ????,

why was this done ?, is it to get me to use my credits to purchase more balls or what ??

    Alex,

I have a puzzling problem. I have recently became Tour Pro status. In Pro status, I held an score average of 72. Since becoming Tour Pro my score started at 80.0 and seems to be climbing. It is now at 83.82. Why is my score going up? Please answer asap.

Every ball that you buy in the pro shop has a durability rating. That means that those balls are not permanent. They wear out based on their durability rating. Watch the small meter on the bottom right side of the screen that has the word hits under it. When you first put a new purchased ball in play the meter is full and white. As you hit the ball the meter decreases as the ball wears. When it starts getting close too being unplayable the meter turns red. When the meter disappears completely the ball is unfit for play and is removed.Look for balls with higher durability. The more dots of durability the longer they will last.

When ever to advance to the next tier your average resets to 0 and your rounds in the new tier are what you average is based on. The 80 average that you started with was based on a 9 hole score of 40 which doubled for an 18 hole score became 80 so your average was then 80. Until you reach a certain number of rounds in your new tier (I believe it is 40 or 50 rounds) scores higher than your average raise your average. When you reach the 40 or 50 rounds in your new tier your average will no longer raise. Just keep working at it shooting scores lower than your average and it will go back down.
