It was only yesterday i posted that i was on a hot round at st andy's in ready go, and was -12 teeing off at the par 5, 14th.  A meter pause made me press early and ended up right near wall of bunker, i ended up double bogeying, and couldn't concentrate much after that disaster lol.  Any way i posted a 61, and thought i would get my $$ back, or make 50c at least.  I noticed 600 extra in my account and couldn't think where it came from, until a message from a friend Golfspieler saying i was still top with my double bogey. I couldn't beleive it, winning St Andrews with a 61!!, It was only the other day i was tied 5th with a 59 LOL.  I've never experienced a win at st andrews with such a average score, has any one won with lower?

I won it with a 60 once. Sometimes you just get a lucky draw of more mediocre players.

You're lucky I took one of those spots in that tournament. lol

I've been sucking hind tit in RGs lately. Started playing ALT shot again the other night and forgot how much fun it is. It's a shame I got kicked out of 4 games before someone would let me play in one though. I narrow it to legends only but can never find a game. So I narrow it to TM and up and rarely find a game. Usually end up playing with masters and tms if they let me.

    Congrats on the win though!

It's been an odd week for me Chris, I won my first RG at SA F9 this week with a 29...which is usually a few strokes back as well, then won at BPB and another at (forget the course)...anyway, I wonder if some folks are just on vacation...lol

A few months ago I won Kiawah Back 9 Ready Go posting a 31.  That was a pleasant suprise to say the least!

It's the luck of the draw i guess. I've had 2 second places in the Fr9 St andrews RG this week. 1 with a 29 and 1 with a 31. 29 is sometimes good for 2nd place but never expected it with 31.

I had a 60 on St Andrews once but that time it was only good enough for around 10th place.

    Congrats on the win!!!

How true, I never have so much fun than when I'm playing alt shot. Ready go's are a challenge but I wouldn't call em so much fun lol. It's good though to have some friends to play with in alt shot that way you only need 1 or 2 random players to fill the game out. But I've lucked into some gr8 games just with random players, but it's usually more fun with a friend or two on board, besides being easier to fill a game.

I'm in the process of cleaning up my friend list. I usually stay hidden so the meter doesn't suffer from people signing off and on.

I sent you two a request. After I get the list cleaned up I'll stay unhidden. If you see me on send me an invite to play sometime if you want.

I have won Congressional with a 63 about 3 weeks ago and it was a shock too me as well. I believe Congressional is the only course now that one can win shooting an average score (on a regular basis) ever since they did away with Oakmont.( another course an average round can win)  Anyway congrats on your win.
