Are the meter speed numbers for the club and for the ball simply added together to determine a final meter speed for a given shot? If so, can this final meter speed be greater than 5.0?

The two numbers are independent but are somewhat additive. Since either can go up to 5.0, that would be the "slowest" combo - but I don't know if it is proportional.
