Not having the putter pal happened to me too when I changed to the WGT launcher - despite the fact that I was in a level 16 club and it was turned on in settings. Uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher did not work either. WGT could not do nothing about it. What worked was switching off BOTH putter pal and shot pal - THEN SAVE. Then go back in and switch both on again and SAVE. I hope this work for you too, because it is very annoying not to have it.

MY SUGGESTIONS RE THE LAUNCHER:

1. Most importantly: when on the green and putting if you push "V" the blue rectangle which displays the elevation and distance disappears, only the line is shown, BUT one cannot move it - make it so one can. Reason - the rectangle is often in my way and it makes it difficult to adjust for the gradient. The transparency is not good enough.

2. I need more angles - especially reverse view on all shots around the green.

3. In games where you play with friends it would be nice to also have the elevation displayed where the distance and wind direction get shown.

4. Another thing that will be a great help - again in games with friends - is if all involved in the game can see the gradient when one is putting.

My two pennies worth.

Thanks Geotre, it finally helps. Only I loose one bracket round cause WGT couldnt help me at time. Lets see if I get credits back lol

Not on my priority list and I assume wgt has the same list as I do. Been a problem since the new version was dreamed up, I can only assume.

So we can pull the flag, but after shot we cannot put it back in.

Couple that with loss of re-play. So we cannot see what we did.

I would like to see what my shot did ... so I have banged off flag 3 times in the last week. I used to pull and replace it for the view. Do the new programmers play the game?

Yes. that is a serious lacking in this game. The other night on the front of Wolf I dinged a tee shot with the marker in the usual place, in very low wind, and looked away for a moment at the tv after the ding. Looked back to my screen to see Lost Ball. WTF?

Did I hit a lob wedge? Did the marker inadvertently get moved? This was on the par 5 5th hole.

No explanation. No recourse to look back and see what the hay happened. Just a brand new $9 a sleeve ball taken.

Just another example of the crap that is this new version.

I've finally started to get a better feel for my off ding putting style, totally different from the old flash meter for this aspect.

BIGGEST pet peeve now, I play mostly multi player stroke games with long time friends every night. "Watching Opponent"? No sheet Sherlock, what the hay else is there to do. No interactive screen or mini-map to think out your next shot. Can't watch mates putt in reverse view. Watching paint dry is more exciting these days.
