    WGT!

Quit taking my f'in balls!!! I buy them, play a 2-3 9 HOLE rounds and then you take it out of play, why? You just take the f'in ball for no reason. This is BS! If I hit it in the bushes or water fine, understood, but dont just take them because you want to make more money from me. This is really irritating...

    Wrong on so many levels...

    LEAVE MY BALLS ALONE!!! Grrr

Just so you know......they are not taking your balls from you.....they are wearing out.

Any balls you BUY from the pro shop has a limited life span. When you are playing a  game look in the lower right hand corner where your ball is before you shoot, there is a little meter that says HITS....that meter is telling you how much life is left in that ball you are using.

You missed his point. He is asking why WGT decides to take a ball after x amount of hits. A virtual ball should not wear out. The pin placements have been the same forever and I don't see the virtual greens wearing out, they should have paths worn 3 ft deep to the cups by now.  My 50 yrd wedge should be as smooth as a babies butt with no grooves left on it.

Damn, don't give them any ideas.

And the course should not exist because no one has paid a greens fee in years.

Seriously, it's how WGT makes its money. Without the current ball system, the game goes away.

There would be no point in having balls you can be if there was no incentive for you to buy them again.

ok  we got to buy new balls  but at least make them last reasonable time and  not charge the earth for them

My point exactly kev772. It seems they wear out "way" and i mean "way" to quickly. To get only a few "9" hole rounds out of a virtual ball...really?

Thanks to those who get the point

seriously, they might start taking clubs "out of play" next.

    That would be suicidal

Understood completely and I am fine with buying more balls, it's the life of the balls that I am questioning. I feel like I am buying balls on a daily basis, they don't last as long as I think the ball should last in a virtual environment. Benefit of being virtual I guess, get to set your own life span. In reality, your ball would not wear out anywhere near this quickly.
