Mesmorizer:
The daytona has a bit more presision but less forgiveness then the spider.
In my opinion, for any club, one should always favor precision over forgiveness. Precision is associated to something you can control (and the control increases with precision) while forgiveness is really a random process.
Let me take this limiting case to explain myself. Imagine a putter with a large precision such as the circle of precision is smaller than the size of the cup. Take for example a 30ft putt on a completely flat green such as you don't have to move the aim.
1) If you do 10 putts and if you ding all of them, you will simply sunk all those putts whatever the forgiveness of the club.
2) If you do 10 putts and if you don't ding any of them you will not sunk all your putts even with a large number of dots for forgiveness. Forgiveness is a random process and for at least one of those 10 putts, forgiveness will not correctly counter the mishit and you will miss your putt (even if you miss the ding by an hair, because over 30ft, a small deviation is enough to miss the tiny cup).
I prefer to be sure that if I ding my shot the ball will go as close as possible to where I aimed than hoping that forgiveness will do his job when I miss the ding. Moreover, club with high forgiveness have often "rather low" precision (like rapture irons). Which means that with those clubs, even if you ding, you are not even sure to get close to your target because of the poor precision (even if the precision of the daytona and spider is still OK and not that much different. But I guess half a dot can be significant for long putts).
Just my thoughts,
