Grt guy Wayne is. Grt play, good banter. Had to make some shots of my own to win against him and luckily I did. Tough course made even tougher by high winds. I'm going to have to take a break now just because how intense the math was...,.MY BRAAIINN!!! I'd do it again tho, lol.

Match 6 Tie# 9

SJM154 beat CharlieH100 on the third extra hole

I wasn't sure this match was going to finish ... quite the epic and a well-deserved win for Steve after three extra holes at our beloved Chambers Bay. We traded blows for three holes and then Steve went one up with eagle at 4. I clawed it back and then went 1 up with an eagle at 8 and was 1 up at the turn. I quickly went three up as a few putts went in and an eagle at 12 but then Steve came roaring back to even it up at 16. I birdied 17 to go 1 up and then Steve won the last. Shared 1 and 2 and then I hit a wayward one to the 3rd and Steve dropped his by the hole for a birdie and the win.

One of the best games I've been involved in during a World Cup and my thanks to a great and very determined opponent. Best of luck for the rest of the tournament,, Steve.

Cup Playoff...Match 5...Tie#1

While I had a pretty jerky meter most of the game and couldn't hit the ding on an approach or birdie putt to save my life, Peter was rock steady the whole game and was definitely the better player today.

Peter was 2 up at the turn and made it 4 up by #13. I got one back on 15, but missed a short tricky putt on 16 for birdie that put me out of my misery.

Well played Peter and good luck in the rest of this year's WC.

I had my game with TomPalmer1945, what a great game it was, Tom was unlucky with some of his shots, so was I lol, came close but on the final 18th hole I was 2 up and Tom was 2 down. Really happy I had my first win in the WC 2020....

Super tight and intense match against Mic (Wasagojii)

Behind by 1 or 2 for most of it, but thankfully managed to square it up towards the end and take it into sudden death

Pars on 1. On 2 Mic missed his birdie putt and I got mine
Count myself very lucky to get away with the win tbh

Chooks win on 2nd extra hole

Match 2 tie #2

Result Busybiscuit 1Up after 19 holes. Great match against Al, I managed to build a lead of 3 up, Al crawled back to AS and then went 3 up. Then it was my turn to made a comeback and managed to bring it back to AS. We ended up AS on the 18th hole. I managed to pull it through on the 19th hole.

Epic Match and great fun
