from what I have read and what was clarified to me... there is no feasible way to actually seed a bracket right now or know everyone's seeding prior to the conclusion of ALL 8 brackets.  All of those scores falling in the lower or upper range will easily juggle up or down somewhere in the eventual merged list of all 8 qualifiers.

It is pure speculation where a 57 in week one or two will end up from a seeding standpoint.

That said, it is very likely, despite both playing in week 1 … once the qualifiers are merged, despite both playing in week 1, both Fmagnets and Young46 will both be #1 seeds in their respective bracket once the scores are merged and the top 8 scores are deemed #1 seeds, if I understand the explanation correctly.

That sounds reasonable but can't work and i will explain why. Let's suppose:

    Week 1: 52 (x2), 53 (x3), 54 (x6)

    Week 2: 53 (3), 54 (x7)

    Week 3: 53 (x5)

and so on.....who will be in the top of the brackets?

At least with a single list, we knew our order. Now?

    In that scenario the

    WK1 52 would be #1

    WK1 53's would be 2-4

    WK2 53's would be 5-7

    WK3 53's would be 8-12

    WK1 54's would be 13-17

    and so on.

First tiebreaker is the week in which you played, so playing a low round early guarantees a low seed. The traditional tiebreaker (countback) is only used within the same scores of one week. So, for example, a 28-25 in WK1 would get the 2nd seed while a 27-26 would get the 3rd and a 25-28 would get the 4th seed.

More practical, you scored a 55 in WK3, so at best you'll be the 6th seed, as you lost the tiebreaker in WK3 to another player and 4 players shot a 55 or better in the first two weeks. Only 54's will pass you in weeks 4-8, 55's will be sorted behind you.

What we could do with is some news on what is happening with the "Denmark" one.

We have been notified that Denmark has been postponed. They will notify us again when they come up with details on what will happen.

When this craziness starts to calm down, I am hoping that we will still get the chance to finish the tournament somewhere in Europe. I was stoked at getting the chance to participate in the final, and I am obviously disappointed in the delay. However, a delayed or even possible loss of a trip is minor compared to what others are losing throughout the world due to Covid 19. My heart goes out to those who have lost so much more, and those whose lives have been so drastically effected.

That's not how I understood the email. The information was about the European Tour event that has been postponed while the eTour event may still happen online. That seems the only viable option to me if the format with 5 regular season events plus global final is supposed to go forward this year.

That was just sticking Young's two lists together as Simon explained. The best 55 from this week would go into position 5 (as long as there are no lower scores) with others following on.  Similarly the top 57 would slot in behind bix64 etc etc

Where on earth have you seen written all these things you are posting?

So, i hit the same score with others that have played the previous weeks and hit the same score as me, but i stay out cause i picked to play week 5 and not week 1??

I would love to see where did you find all these things...

Simon is correct Yiannis, and the explanations are in the first post of this thread. You would not miss out by having a top 16 score in any week, but you would be seeded lower than players posting the same score in earlier weeks.
