    Johniedino:
no where can I find how to turn career earnings into credits to use in the pro shop.

You should see the number of credits you have available under your name (above the 'PLAY NOW' button) on the left of the screen, and also when you click on the Account button in the same area. You'll also see how many credits you have when you visit the pro shop and select something to 'purchase'.

Career earnings are just that - the total credits that you've won since becoming a WGT member.

what does this mean? .....i have $1.50 earned...what it this ?

    Sleven185:
how does one use your career earnings?

    Sleven & jmiera,

Career earnings reflect everything you have won or attained by playing the game.  Career earnings are a combination of WGT credits, values of prizes/trips won in tournaments and promotion bonuses earned from advancing through the tiers.

Your WGT credits are shown on your friends list, right above the LOG OUT button.  Those credits can be used to upgrade your equipment in the Pro Shop or you can use them to enter premium tournaments & Ready-Go events.

Your $1.50 of Career earnings comes from a 50 credit bonus you earned when you were promoted to the Amateur Tier.  You earned another 100 credits when you were promoted to the Pro tier.  Right now your earnings match your spendable credits, but that is not always the case.  For example,  a player who wins a trip will have the trip's value added to their Career Earnings, but they will not earn any WGT credits.

Hope that clears it up for you. =)

I know I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but no where can I find how to turn career earnings into credits to use in the pro shop.

You can purchase my book, "How to turn your earnings into credits" for only $19.95, plus shipping and handling ...

Or, read the FAQs for Pro Shop and Deposit and Credits in the column to the right. --->

    From the FAQ:

Will I earn anything when I move up to a new tier?

Yes, as you move up to new tiers you will earn WGT credits that can be used to purchase new virtual equipment or to enter tournaments. The credits you will earn are:

    Amateur: 50 credits
    Pro: 100 credits
    Tour Pro: 125 credits
    Master: 150 credits
    Tour Master: 175 credits
    Legend: 200 credits

When you advance to the Amateur Tier you will be rewarded 50 credits ($0.50 career eanings) advancing to the Pro Tier will get you 100 more credits ($1.50) Scroll up the page a few posts back for all the tiers.

Doing well in tournaments (Top 70) will get you credits as well.

By the way, good job searching for an existing topic and posting on it rather than starting yet another post like some people do.

    Amateur: 50 credits
    Pro: 100 credits
    Tour Pro: 125 credits
    Master: 150 credits
    Tour Master: 175 credits
    Legend: 200 credits

WGT's getting pretty skimpy with the credits for tier advancement. 175 for TM far cry from the 400 I got. Then again 15 months ago there werent as many ways to get credits as there are today.

Glad I got my R9 during the big sale way back when.  Still enjoying the game, wish I had more time to play.  Thanks WGT.

    Happy Golfing

    Joe

The players who have a lot of career earnings play a lot of Ready Go tournaments. The way to gain career earnings is in those, top 10 in free tournaments, skins and match play challenges.
