St Andrews  in winds of 28-32 mph , a challenge , but I quite like that , prefer it to the greens at Merion !

Me, too, but haven't seen St Andrews in the first 8 rounds.

Maybe only 3 courses this clash?

Through 10 matches, we are 4 at CB, 4 at St. A and 2 at Merion.

We had all 4, but Wolf Creek only twice --- in the middle of the night with few members racking up birdies and eagles.  I think it was the easiest course to score on, Clash-wise, unless you are in love with St. Andrews of course, where birdies can be had pretty well.

We wound up with 4 at Chambers, 3 at Merion, and 2 each at WC and St. A's.

Clashes becoming a farce IMHO, think over 48 hours played 8 events, 4 WC, 4 Merion. About time the developers did something major to ensure fair play and even distribution of courses, must be possible. Not spending further on balls/passes until they sort this situation out. #clashesshouldbefun

I could not agree more, played seven games in two days, only Chambers and The Wolf. All with 25-35 mph winds, left, right, forwards and against .many of our lesser players would not play because of the conditions, especially the Wolf which is easy to loose balls on anyway. WGT are trying to get more players to play in the clashes, but if they keep with these high winds FOR EVERY GAME on both days, they are defeating their object. Two days heavy winds impossible, what are they trying to prove. Comments please Tony

It was only St. Andrews that had really high winds

    Fartman56:

I want to know who the evil MF'er is that keeps setting up these clashes in 35+mph winds? 99.9% of the people I know would never go golfing in those conditions. yet you expect 100% of us to play in it to compete for our country clubs. Stop setting up unrealistic winds. What ever happened to mild winds. The last few months the winds keep getting stronger and stronger. Eventually at the pace things are increasing we will be playing in 100 mph winds in a few months. Be realistic, not every course has heavy winds on every time it is played.
