I see there are new balls available. Was this done during maintenance or were they there already? Is there anything else new?

If you use the cleveland wedges, and use the club movement as a guide to how far the ball travel is all new, they've changed it completely.

Shame I had to find out in my morning ready go. I won't be entering any of them for a while.

Still on the bright side i'll be saving 4 bucks a day, give me time to watch a few more adverts :-))

WORLD GOLF TOUR will, without providing notice, be making ongoing modifications and improvements to the Game Software from time to time in the course of the operation and development of the Site. Such changes may affect the performance and interaction of individual components of the games, performance of virtual items, contests and challenges available on the Site.

In addition, you agree that WORLD GOLF TOUR retains the sole and unfettered right to change, remove or modify the available virtual items from time to time (which may among other things make one or more virtual items more or less effective or functional, more common or less common, or eliminated entirely).

    NOT IMPRESSED!!!!

-3 and putting for a 13ft Eagle on the 4th at Cabo R/Go when the site went down... after a couple of hours.. missed the eagle, but got a bird,  then pared a few more with a Bird mixed in there somewhere and bogeyed the 8th... finished with a 32.

Not happy at all....lol. Was on a roll then the site goes down...hmmmm

It's really good customer service to advice everybody that the site will go down and not just pull the plug...hmmmmm

    If I knew, then I wouldn't have started....lol

    Cheers

Based on your feedback, as our valued WGT players, we’ve been looking for various ways to help speed-up the game, and one of the areas we’ve identified is the time it takes to download and process avatar swinging. In last night’s update, we reduced some frames in avatar animation, which has significantly reduced the size of avatar download and improved loading times, especially during multi-player matches where this affects most players. This change has no effect on the power of the swing or the distance which the ball will travel. However, some experienced players may notice there are a few less frames in the swing.

Please let us know your experience with the new avatars and any suggestions are deeply appreciated! Thanks!

For those players who use Avatar moves to judge power, how about an option to keep the old avatar moves?  Use the new avatar moves for the other players in multi-player but keep the old moves for my player.

I don't think it's possible to have both. But it's only my personal guess.
