. I figured my analogy might fall apart for the more tool savvy golfer, but anyway.. I TRY! lol

And do a good job at it. Your graph was very illuminating and made good sense. Nice job.

p.s., My Delta 10" saws all do the same thing as your Hitachi. That's why I got the Rigid. Great saw for a little over $200 at Homer Depot.  ;-)

It's now up to you WGT.

You've been provided some good discussion here, and ideas that will allow you to accomplish what you set out to do yet give us our avatar increments back.

So what do you say, be stubborn, or give us back what we paid for if we feel it is not an improvement but a detriment?

I don't mind the changes they made. Yes, not having that first movement is annoying at first, but it's not that hard to guesstimate where halfway to full from top movement is now...

For the wedges, they are still as accurate as before and are more linear now, which is good imho. No, you can't micromanage your power to the extreme anymore, you actually have to use your feeling and experience. Takes a while to get used, but definately not something to cry wolf over.

I doubt the elite out there will be "hurt" much by the change. It's probably gonna affect the tier just below them more.

    DarSum:
.....When I do they tend to come a few at a time during a single round. They bite me hard when I have a stutter because I'm not expecting it. But they are very few and far between. I would say 1 out of 8 to 10 rounds or so I'll have a meter issue

For your safety Dar......better hope Jake doesn't read this!  LOL

you are probably right but another simple solution was possible I think. What they wanted was to suppress frames in the swing animation to improve loading time. There were 20 movements before and now there are 12 (I didn't count myself but this is what I read). So they could have kept the 4 first movements starting from full shot and then suppress half of the remaining movements. This way you also have 12 movements remaining (4 + 16/2 = 12) and you don't significantly change the game play because there are not much cases when one chokes more than 4 avatar movements. Just my opinion.

I play this game by feel, and the meter feels better for me and my slow machine. Avatar movements, you guys checking them that close. No wonder my game suffers as it does.

The 11th doesn't take the club to the top so the top of the swing represents the 12th. Count the spaces.
