LMAO. I don't need to ask for it to get it. Yankee fans endure that but also get a kick out of anti-Yankee fans that live in the past.

Kevin Brown vs this week's epic collapse?  See what I mean?    And then the peanut box Chicago fan jumps in.  LOL   Bring it...................

    Jim,

Of course you dont ever refer to the past.

I have no interest in getting into a tiresome, my team is better than your team debate - for the record, our recent collapse is far more impressive than your teams past collapse.

Rather, the point i was demonstrating is that you do yourself no favors by coming across as such an ignorant xenophobe.

Erm, Philly's 10,000 losses as a first in any sport still remains as a first and was appropriate in the discussion. That's how you use history references.  In that case, a light hearted one.

As for being an ignorant xenophobe,I happened to be married to a pure bred foreigner. Is there another phrase that should be used in referencing another person from a foreign country? Or did you mean that in the typical context a Red Sox fan would?  By all means, school me.

"As for being an ignorant xenophobe,I happened to be married to a pure bred foreigner."

..which only serves to make it all the worse. ...

"be married" ..as in past tense.

as for "foreigner" ...try a thesaurus ... that might help. or alternatively ..."our overseas colleague/acquaintance."

I know that you revel in discord, but I would quit while you are behind, unless you want to really get taken to college.

LOL. Insert that in the original post where foreigner offended you and all will be good. Do not make something out of nothing. You'll be playing one sided.  :-)

good luck to all the boys of summer competing in the Fall Classic .  It should be a good one.
