This is a compilation of many many posts under different subjects. Since the last maintenance update--I mean maintenance Blind Date, since we are all facing something we wish we never saw. I.E. avatar movement changes, clubs reacting like we have never swung one before, continued disconnects, game errors and the list goes on. It just amazes me that WGT has such strict rules regarding accounts, policing comments in the forums, no name clause and as Yancy would say so forth and so on and such and whatnots. However, in their own words they can change anything at anytime, and all the honest, real money paying players on here are defenseless when it comes to preparing for these changes. I remind everyone that this is the most realistic golf game on the internet. For those of us who play real golf, how many times a year do you have to buy all new clubs? How many times a week do you buy new balls? I know this is their cash cow, but it is really very Unrealistic. I have a set of Cobras in real life and after several years of hitting each club hundreds of times, I know how every club will react if hit properly from different lies. The only addition I have added to this set in years was the new 9.0 ZL driver. Since I have been on this site, I have bought almost every club in the pro shop. The clubs I have equipped are a drop in the bucket to what is in my virtual inventory. I found the ones that worked best for me and now it is all for naught.  Very deceitful indeed.

I have written  many times to voice my opinion of what has happened  since I started  this great game in June of this year.  I love to play this game because i can't get out and play for real. A drunk driver took care of that. When I started this game it was very easy to enjoy because it was very forgiving.  This had my captivation of being so successful in achieving low scores, I was promoted from Amateur to Pro and then Tour Pro. The thing I noticed in the changes, every time I was promoted, the wind picked up and the breaks increased on the same holes I had played before. Now I don't play for real but I would assume the breaks and green speeds don't change as much. Through the time that I have been playing, my enthusiasm has stayed there.  I always think I can do better. But when my club length says 170yrds and the tee is 175yrds wind 15 right to left  accounted for and the ball is hit at 170 but drops either 15 yrd's short of it's destination or flies 20 yrd's past the flag. I can't imagine the difficulty you must have with programing  the servers to be consistent but I think it would to every ones advantage to fix all the problems or close down until you can take care of all the issues. I come on every day and play and some days are better then others. Another thing that has bothered me. I hope you can't control the game of each player and make it difficult  for those who have not spent money, for one reason or another.  I do surveys for credits to buy balls and as soon as I can get enough, I would like to upgrade my starter irons  and Driver for something better. Maybe by that time you will have all the glitches fixed. I have 129 friends that only a few will join me in a game because I have become so vocal when something goes wrong. My last post I said if these things were fixed , I would  keep my mouth shut. This time it is up to wgt to get it done or I will let every one know that this game only a money making proposition for the owners of wgt . I'm sure I'm not the only person who plays this game and has problems occur that don't make sense. Good Luck, I'm not going to be embarrassed while playing  with friends until it can be taken care of. thank you

Hey pipeman, your not singled out for not spending any real bucks on here. I spend a great deal of real money on this game and still have all the same problems. The top players on here are loosing balls, experiencing the un explainable glitches and inconsistencies.  It is a WGT issue, caused by them, intentionally to create revenue, by making players think they need to upgrade constantly to improve their play. It's the only reason I can think of. Why else would they change the game? The players who have been on here since the beginning, have spent countless dollars, hours of practice and note taking to be the best they can on here. Now, they get smacked in the kisser with the latest changes. As soon as the new equipment is introduced to counter act these deviations, a very large number of players will rush to the pro shop to buy the latest and greatest. In the long run it is the WGT plan. The American way at it's best.

Well, your starter clubs are high on the list of your woes, since you cannot spin the ball and stop it, you have to play differently and roll the ball to the hole.

My nephew made Master with starter clubs and Dove balls, with the move back in tees he was struggling, so bought the inexpensive WGT driver (245 yarder) and a TM wedge (don't recall which one though).  He's now birdies most par 5's by laying up to use his TM wedge, instead of a 40 yard shot with the starter clubs.

I play him in practice mode quite a bit, and remember now how I "used to play"...lol...i/e 110 yards out, he uses his 110 yard starter club at 100 yards...lets the ball roll up close to the hole and hopes to make a putt, I play him with my starter clubs (but with my R11 3W as my driver) when we play, and I tell ya...it's tough, but can be done.

He's starting to shoot around par for the most part, and is having fun.

    lol/...that would make me 80:)

IN all honesty, he used to play my starter clubs for many months in practice mode...so he got the hang of things soon enough..check him out...Dplomb (don't ask me why)...but leveled up to Master long before I did, with less clubs.

I did whoop up on him when he was getting cocky...but already used up them Calloways he sent me...lol

80  at least. I tried to teach my 18 yr old grandson but he is too impatient. I've taken him real golfing several times, same way, He can crush a ball 295 yrds but has no ideal where it is going. Glad to hear you have a prodigy.

Makes me feel a little better that I am not the only one having this problem.  I just finished the 2nd Round of the 40 week multi round Tournament.  Ended the first round even par and was feeling pretty good.  A double bogey started the round, my own fault, but got a birdie couple holes after and was feeling pretty confident  of getting back to even par.  Now i admit I hit some bad shots and screw things up on my own but someone explain this to me.  Using a 250 yd driver of the tee, 7 mile wind at my back, I aim over the rough onto the fairway 218 yds. out.  Hit a perfect full shot and it travels 215 yds in the air and lands in the rough and sticks, no bounce.  After that shots go errant and I end up with a double bogey.   The following holes the same perfectly hit shots all over the place. Hey I take blame for the bad ones, but this game is hard enough without help from the golf Dark Demons. I haven't bought credits with real money but do lots of the free credit activities, and have bought things that reward credits.  Can never qualify for the top credit award surveys though after spend 10 15 mins answering all the pre-qualifying questions.Sure would like to know the secrets of scoring low enough to get at least into the top 100 of the leader board at least once.
