Yes, for us from the old flash PC world, the "coin room" side of WGT Golf is a new twist but many of those who you are playing there are mobile players who have been around a long time and some (lower tier) are exceptionally good. I have had my clock cleaned many times by what appeared to be newbies but actually were very good seasoned mobile players who do nothing but play coin games.

On mobile , coin rooms have been around for as long as I can remember, certainly before 2016 they may be newish for PC players.
