Just cruising along making some birdies and some pars, nothing great and nothing real bad. -8 on the tee at 18 thinking fairway, green and see what happens with the putt.
I tee the ball up, adjust it so my mark is precisely where the face of the club is going to meet the ball. I take my stance, wiggle my butt a couple of times, waggle the club and get set. I pull that club back as pretty as can be and start my downswing and SWOOSH!!!!.
My soft little kitty brushes up against my leg, creating a tingling feeling up into my finger causing a premature reaction. The ball ends up on the left side of the fairway in a little tuft of weeds with a 50/60 lie. I'm a 178yds to the hole with honestly no real clue on how to hit it in this game so I whack a 6 iron punch into the front bunker and guess what, another 50/60 lie dammit.
Nothing spectacular from there, I ended up with bogey on 18 for a.........63
Since this isn't the first time this has happened, beginning next week the soft little kitty is going to be belted up under lock and key and hidden away while I play. I hate to hide a locked kitty but sometimes at my age, more strokes is not a good thing.
When I let her out, I'll spend more time petting her, she usually likes that.
