Week 25 around Chambers was a very disappointing 70 for me.
I played pretty good (for me anyway) but my putter was as cold as my hands were (a chilly 8 degrees that feels like 6 in Sydney when I played). I got to -2 & missed a 4 foot putt on 6 when the dots were moving but the ball didn't stray off line (I'll never work out those 4-6 foot putts that have no / slow moving dots as it always does the opposite to what I pick). Gave all my shots back with a double bogey on 7. Missed another no/slow dot 6 footer on 8.Same again on 12 & 18. And stuffed up on 17. Had a couple of edge burner putts & a lip out. Just one of those many rounds of mine that could have been something special but wasn't, It's what keeps me at an average player level & stops me going into the slightly better than average player zone.
A massive THANK YOU to Brett (What a cool name) for putting this thing together, This was my first event & I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Bring on the Summer Salstice Open (Even though it's Winter Down under)
