It's a 66 for me at Chambers Bay. I'm absolutely stoked with that as it's my best score ever around Chambers.
Had some great par saver & birdie putts but made a stupid error on 7 when I was so focused on the strength & aiming point of putt I actually aimed it up on the wrong side of the hole for the break & then to make it worse missed the par putt coming back. 4 under around the F9 even with that balls up.
The B9 was a bit of a graft with 3 birds & 2 bogeys, looks like all the times we got lumbered with chambers in the clash paid off. I 3 putted 13 after approach just ran & ran & ran leaving a 70 footer which i aimed 3 grids wide but I think it needed to be about 6 & left too much for the par putt.
I think I've left it too late to make a run at the leaders & was pretty much out of contention after a poor first round on BOP5's but I've thoroughly enjoyed this tourney & again a massive thanks go out to Brett for organising & keeping track of it all.
