After a lackluster front 9 ending up at par, birdied 6 of the last 9 holes and ended up at 65.
Next time I'll try to play well on the whole course, not just half of it.
61 for me at Chambers this week. Mostly good shots although some left me scratching my head. #2 was the most mystifying hole I've played in awhile. 16-18 mph wind blowing straight left, so I aimed my tee shot off the fairway to the right and then watched in horror as my ball landed exactly where I had my aimer. Zero wind push. Punched out of the 60-70% brush to 61 yds and then backed my approach shot into the cup for birdie. No fairway, no GIR, but a good result.
Hey all: Will post a 61 with a few head scratchers here too, but always fun, thanks for the coordination. Chris
Traveled up to Chambers Bay and remembered to take the putter. Still missed a coupe I should have made but also made a couple I didn't deserve.
Posted a solid 31+31=62 for the round.

I lolloped around Chambers Bay underperforming at almost every opportunity. Despite that I was -5 at the turn which seemed better than I was playing, but the B9 brought balance back to the force as I could only add two more birdies and I finished with a mediocre but accurate 64.

I forgot to report my disappointing 64 Did not get a heartbeat or a bird until the 8th. a good finish saved me from total embarrassment.
