OK, I've only been at the level (tier) for a few hours.  But if what you want is to take the game to the next level this is it!

I've never worked so hard or concentrated so much on playing.  Had a go at some Championship Green RG(s) and it was thrilling!  Not just the putts, but "managing" the ball to somewhere near the pin with long irons had me revising a lot of my notes!  :)

I'm not quite sure if I'll be able to handle as many rounds per session as I used to.  I feel exhausted from a PC game LOL.  But it really does take the thinking to a whole new level.  Makes the jump from VF greens to Tournie and the Pro tee's to Master  - something I thought was a huge jump - seem like a little stepping stone.

    Thoroughly recommended.

Great stuff Ecka. I love Legend level for same reasons as you. Just fought out a 66 at the Oak including 2 double bogies. Feel like I've been in the ring with M. Ali. The concentration required, by the Oak in particular, is incredible for the likes of me.  Have more and more fun.

Good for you, Ecka. I guess you're finding out what the real difference in tees makes-those long irons. The first hole in the Pinehurst CTTH is a 4  5  or 6i shot, depending on the wind. You can hit/restart and get a different wind scenario every time. The reverse view is a good look at the tee from the green so you can really get a feel for what the wind does to direction as well as distance.  Heh-get used to the wind, you'll see it every ranked round unless it's a tournament. GL

    That's not pressure.

Pressure is hiding behind some sandbags, desperately trying to reload your RPG, while a tank and an APC are blasting away at your cover.

I take it you are alluding to Keith Miller's famous comment about the Messerschmitt, on being asked about pressure at the first cricket test match after WW2.

But why? What am I missing here?

Juan was just putting a downer on Ecka's excitement by putting it into perspective.

    I see.

Miller, a Spitfire pilot and film-star dashing sportsman with real style, said, "Pressure? Pressure is a Messerscmitt up your ****"

    He wasn't putting anyone down.
