DOT POSTING MATCH UPS 6PM UK TIME
This is it the 7th round and the final chance to push for the Cup or settle for the Plate
There have been some great matches so far and by far the best World Cup to date, it just keeps getting better every year.
Let’s take a look at the groups
Group 1
Looks like the Raiders have the group sown up but there are 4 maybe 5 teams fighting for the next 3 places in the Cup. Cobra 3 and SEL hotshots look certain so it’s a battle between Fanatics 2 and the Bushwackers but with Fanatics playing Black Diamond you have to fancy them but you never know.
Group 2
After taking the spoils against the Alphadites the Bandits march ahead and can’t see them giving it up now.
The Alphadites have another battle against the Warriors but unless they lose all games they are safe in 2nd place.
Warriors will take 3rd and with Cosa taking on the Bandits Cobra 2 might sneak into that 4th spot.
Group 3
Well let’s see who’s in top spot there eh lol.The Chickens have totally dominated the group, I haven’t played that much due to the arthritis but I wasn’t needed awesome.
Spartans take 2nd and Founders B should get 3rd.4th spot should be East Coast but Penalty Box 2 could pinch it.
Group 4
Cobra 1 has been going about their business very quietly and have lost a few games but they cruise to the group winners spot.
The other 3 places look set with Penalty Box 1/Founders A and Fanatics 1 but don’t rule out the Pirates just yet.

18 Holes Matchplay
The Olympic Club Lake Course
The Olympic Club Lake Course, opened in 1924, designed by Willie Watson and Sam Whiting, redesigned in 1927 by Sam Whiting due to damage, is considered one of the top 100 golf courses in the world.
Any player with a – 2 by their name must play air shots on holes 4 and 16
RULES
Each match will be played to a win, draw lose no sudden death 18 holes,
Each match will have a 2 week timeline to complete
Any players refusing to play will forfeit their match,
Any matches not completed on time will be looked at by me and dotty and a decision made on the result depending on evidence supplied,
Once a match been played the result will stand so it’s up to all players to check the opponents tier before start of play,
I would suggest a 90sec shot clock with maximum timeouts, there’s no panic to get the game played and have a chat in-between,
if both players agree they can have 60 or 45 that would be their choice,
No focus boosts will be allowed during matches. Use of this tool will lead to a disqualification
Any team members giving advice on any shots/putts to another player on any chat forum and found out, the player and the adviser will be disqualified from the rest of the comp.
Players please when posting results, I would like group number, teams and players please and a short post of the match,
Let’s keep the forum busy but no negative comments from anyone, if you have problem contact your captain first and they will contact the other captain, I don’t really want to be involved unless I have to.

All claims for these prizes must be placed on the ctth thread on the first page of the community organised forum only, none will count placed on the main World Cup thread.
