We can just agree to disagree Turk.

A $20 entry fee on a tournament isn't huge, I agree.  However you can play 10 or more of these in a day, making it $200 and who is to say that this won't be followed by a $50 or even $100 tournament.  As I said I can't play them but this was never susposed to be a gambling site and what else do you call it but that.  You are paying to play a game of chance or skill.

WGT may have created a whole new problem here......we have enough multi-accounters and baggers in here right now. Get these restricted to Legends ASAP. You will destroy the game further if this is not done.

I won't touch them until we get a level....or as level as possible playing field.

At least when i play a MPC i have the choice to risk it or not against a lower level player.....this new RG setup i have no idea.

$1 tournaments are borderline gambling.... $20 tournaments are definately gambling.  Hope the feds don't shut this place down like the poker sites....

    odaddy68:

how about leaving the high stakes RGs open to all, but everyone plays the same tees.  if they want to play with the big boys, make them do it on the same terms as the rest of us.  if people don't like it, they can chose not to play those RGs.  why should someone with the exact same clubs as me expect to get a built in advantage.  it's motivation to simply get better, which will benefit them in the long run.

    now this i agree with

Yep, I agree.  I could send my nephew a set of G10's (master level, high average), head to his place once a week and (sorry, no disrespect here)beat many top tiered players.

BTW, I am not going to do it, nephew is dplomb, he (and I) shoot straight.

How much are we being ripped off,by having "an unexpected error" occurred ?.we pay for the balls we play with, yet, does that credit us back with what we spend if we get this error on the 9th, 18th hole...I think not. c'mon wgt,if your developers cannot handle errors, then get new ones...most people will not comment and take it as part of the game.It costs money to play this game, therefore, consumer acts allover the world, would suggest that you are adverstising ( that is spelt correctly unless you live in USA ), something that is not correct.......Have you heard about law suits ?

Not sure abut the Multi-Accounters. I think these type of R/Go's are made for the Elite. The really good golfers will win these type of Comps, most of the time, which I don't mind,  so it doesn't matter if they are on the the same tees or not. I'll be happy with a top 20 finish...lol.

I've entered two 2k R/Go's (shocking scores) and have found the game plays harder than normal, because I know the big entry fee, my nerves usually gets the better of me..lol.  Once I learn to get over that, I might just do alright...lol. Just part of the learning process.

Wouldn't it be nice to win one of these big ones...lol. Set ya up for a long time

    Cheers

That's the obvious attraction for sure, but maybe I'm just too tight, but the way I look at it is if I don't come in on the money, how long will it take me to get it back?

I did try the 500cr one when it first came out, shot a 32 and got back 235 credits, I think it'll be awhile (and a few Coors) before I venture in to the larger ones.

It has become obvious that the multi accounters will never be resolved. They have existed for some time and will continue to grow. If you can not control this problem you must create an incentive for individuals to grow and improve their game. The majority of the legend players on this site have been here for quite some time and have put a lot of time, effort and money in to the game in most cases. If people want to play at a competitive level where larger prize and credit totals are available they should have to advance to do so.

No offence to lower tier players here as the majority are trying to improve. Its the ones that consistently avoid turning legend to have the advantage. I don't think i want to compete for credits against someone who has all my equipment with the exception of a legend ball which really isn't much of an advantage over the level 35 callaway available to all.

More thought should have been put in to this when they introduced the new tiers. WGT still has the ability to fix these problems by creating incentive to improve. Players in lower tiers could still have prize events , just make them small. When it comes to legends they should be able to play for larger prizes against the best there are here. Not the best TM who doesn't want to advance becouse he gets to hit wedges in to greens where a legend is hitting a 3,4,or 5 iron.

The multi accounter problem will exist until WGT finds a way to do this and not offer an incentive to players who are there simply to rake all the credits they possibly can from short tees.

Playing off the easy tees(reds) with the clubs I have, is a real eye opener...wow.

I hope there are no hacks out there with those clubs....lol

As a few other people have said, make the Extreme R/Gos to be played on the Hardest Tees(Blacks), then everybody will start on the same tees. The only thing with that is,

Will the Extreme R/Go's be filled?

How many Tm's or below enter these big comps?
