I have been an amateur for a year and a half now, at what point does it change to Pro? My average is 80.6 and I am at level 26

Here is a tip. Play more. You have clearly hardly played the game in a year and a half. In order to move up you have to play.

Get your average to about 68 or lower and you should tier up! Just play as much and you can and basically get good! LOL

Level 26 is a normal level for an Amateur. Keep playing often, post all your rounds, and before you know it you'll be tiering up.

I moved up when my rate hit 79.9.

Once it goes up, it doesn't come back down.

Make sure the games you play are "ranked" rounds. Practice or any other type of rounds do not count toward tier advancement.

WGT seems to have a computer formula for tier promotion. I think they base it on a stroke rounds. I also believe they must not count match play, alternate stroke games, or blitzes in their criteria for promotion. Not sure why, but that's the program:)

    Good luck, hit em straight:)

Perhaps I'm wrong, but didn't I just say that?
