How many times do we have to post about this issue before anything gets done by it?  Happened again, i change from pitch shot to full swing, 38 yards from pin.  \when full swing is selected i have 80 yard wedge in hand.  I change to 60 yard wedge, see it in hand, take the right amount of power then strike ball.  When shot screen is shown, my ball fly's 80 yards into deep rough behind pin. (see replay)  (this in itself is strange because i gave 60 yard wedge 3/4 power (enough for 38 yards) but if it was 80 yard wedge, 3/4 power wouldn't be enough to take it 80 yards!!)

The damn caddy has done it again, forgot to use the actual club i had selected, or not registered the club change.  A perfectly decent ready go has now been changed to a mediocre or a LOSS ready go in one damn caddy mess up.  There's been plenty mentioning this, so why has nothing been attempted to rectify it yet, its been months??  To busy counting the $50, $100 & $250 you make from every newly introduced expensive ready go.  (and before anyone mentions we can make money from it too, our winnings come from each other.lol)

Damn Chris you woke the beast. Was teeing off on nbr 10 at SA, pulled the marker out to 280 and the flight line was red, WTH, caddie had chosen the 3 wood. This is a first for me. Nbr 11 had a 4ft putt for bird, looked over and it was on 90 ft. Seems we have to double check every single time now. The programmer responsible for this nonsense needs to spend a little real life time with some of the guys and gals on here, so he can get re-programmed.

I can answer why it went 80yds Chris.  From the replay, and comparing the 3 screen shots below.  You ended up hitting a Burner 2.0 PW not a Cleveland 80 yd wedge.

Andy but thats what's the puzzling thing, when i took the actual shot, i had a cleveland wedge in my hand, Because i had PW offered firstly for a 43 yard pitch shot, i took my time to change to full swing, then scrolled down to the 64 degree wedge, and actually saw it in hand.  When shot was taken it was totaly different club. Either when i scrolled back to wedge it never registered but i made sure to take my time because i know doing it quickly can cause caddy to stick on wrong selection.  I've had it happen at 18th taken shot with wedge, seen wedge swing but when screen shot for actual shot was taken it took shot with DRIVER!  And you can see what using a driver on 18th from 27 yards would do.

    Hi Chris,

are you using the mouse wheel to select your club?

I am just trying to find some hints for the origin of the bug. Perhaps it manifests more often (or exclusively?) when selecting clubs with the mouse wheel... I personally don't use the mouse wheel with this game, I just click.

If you use mouse wheel, can you try to click for selecting club instead and see if this bug still happen and eventually report here? This might help the prorgammers (if they read the forum :) or at least Iconian can report to them).

    Regards

the EASY way to correct this (on every shot the player MUST chose their club of choice) but NOOOOOOO the golf gods say I have to check to be sure the correct club has been chosen for me. Just another nonsense fake preordained WGT .
