I'm sick to death in going into Paris head to head room to get my weekly quota of bonus packs, to find the game constantly pairs me up against Legends and Tour Masters. I'm a level 91 Tour Pro with a modest set of clubs and an average of 67.88, but rarely get a Tour Pro for an opponent. And when I do, they're usually cashed up buggers that drive 300 yards with a slight tail wind.
To level the playing field, why not restrict the Paris room to masters and lower. And get rid of howling gales that NOBODY plays in in real life unless they're mad, making money or designing a golf game.
It'd be nice if the game was intelligent enough to look at driver distances and match those as well.
I'm not cashed up and can't afford 300yrad drivers and you beaut balls that slow the meter down to a crawl.
And on top of all that, the game cannot detect to worst kept secret of cheaters using added software to slow the meter so that every shot goes exactly where they aim.

I just want a good golf experience. Not come away with lost coins and gained frustrations because of continual mismatches and those stupid 20mph+ winds.
    There, I've had my vent.

Don’t play in the coin rooms then , just play tournaments for the great golf experience you are looking for. Playing in wind is a great challenge.

Equipment is available by level and not by tier, which means legends and tour legends don't have any inherent advantage. In fact, I thought in the Paris room players had to play from their default tees. That would put the lower-tier player at an advantage, everything else being equal.

The player who could have the real advantage would actually be a Level 91 Tour Pro. They've got great equipment available to them and are playing from forward tees.

I think your rant is a bit misplaced.

Right now a SHOW DOWN is underway by WGT If you play in the Veterans Level of SHOW DOWN that is where the game puts you ! In that room ! Which in my opinion is wrong but I think that’s why you are finding more players of higher levels in that room

    just my opinion !

    To the OP:

If you're interested in the rants from the other side, here are a couple of good threads:

At level 91, you passed by the level 85 irons, driver etc, which would make you one of those guys you're ranting about, and from your tee boxes, a terror. Best suggestion, based on your scores, is stay out of coin rooms, til you up grade your equipment, and spend more time practicing.

Wow...had no idea people took this stuff so seriously.  I have played off and on since 2014.  I spent a long time with an average of 150 because all i liked to do was play head to head. I got interested in getting better equipment so i saved up some credits and bought some.  Had no idea how the tier system or levels worked, and still am fairly dumb about that.  Point is......I have played what i liked to play....at times its been brackets, at times its head to head....my level my tier my equip, "are what they are"....they are the result of me doing simply what this game was designed for....to have fun.  I suppose  some of the trolls on this thread and some of the others that were provided could find a way to accuse me of cheating or gaming the system no different than they accuse others.  Take a deep breath before you accuse people of things.....maybe people are just having fun and there is no nefarious intent.  Just my thoughts....:)  Hit em straight....

veteran showdown is in Casablanca not Paris.

so your whole post is invalid, ignorant, and a complete waste of exclamation points.

A tip of the Duffer's cap to Cel7 for revealing the best part of WGT,  it's here to enjoy and have FUN! And have fun your way.  Every one has their own thing and there's room for everyone.  If someone else enjoys things a different way good for them.

Have fun and hit em straight,

    John

Mmmm... People from the home of golf might have different thoughts on this.

I remember playing with a pro from Scotland some twenty years ago and he was hitting the ball so low that it flew like some sort of cruise missile. When I asked him why, he said I should come and play in his hometown, then I would see why. And I did eventually (much later) and... yeah, I prefer playing elsewhere. LOL It was like you've got to hit punch shots one after another constantly to keep it in play!
