And get rid of howling gales that NOBODY plays in in real life unless they're mad...

Mmmm... People from the home of golf might have different thoughts on this.

I remember playing with a pro from Scotland some twenty years ago and he was hitting the ball so low that it flew like some sort of cruise missile. When I asked him why, he said I should come and play in his hometown, then I would see why. And I did eventually (much later) and... yeah, I prefer playing elsewhere. LOL It was like you've got to hit punch shots one after another constantly to keep it in play!

65%;of my approach shots, are punchs, I tell everyone in our club to learn it, can be ur best friend, in hurricane winds.

You must score well on the old soils. :-)

I've noticed that most pros now hit their iron shots more and less like a punch with no or little follow-through, especially since Tiger Woods' era. Well, definitely not the way I learnt.. I was told to lift it up in the air as much as you can with a slight fade so that it lands softly on the green surface. It caused my swing to be an accentuated reverse C form at the end like many learnt and played during the 70's and 80's.
