Hi
I've just played the wk 43-9 hole unlimited around Congressional. -3 coming to the last (one the greatest holes in world golf so always a treat) perfect drive down the right of the fairway. 8mph wind from the right so I am several feet to the right of the pin (more than I would normally due to slope to hole). I then ding the shot, perfect I think...nope it drags it left and one bounce in to the water.
Am I being cynical in thinking this is just a way to rid me of Callaway gold balls and therefore drive up the cost of my game?
I think a ding shot should go where you aim it and not be affected by any forgiveness/precision stats.
