  Oxygen is not PRODUCED by the ocean. It is released under certain circumstances, however, the oceans are NOT the filtering system of our planet's air pollution

  It (oxygen) is however PRODUCED, by ALL plant vegetation

  Argue all you want Paul, it just won't be with me.

  Although I am somewhat of a scientist, you will find your quarrel with better, systemically trained science peeps.

  Beware where you find what seams to be factual

  Oxygen in the ocean is mixed at the molecular level, so no production actually takes place. Just a pot of molecular goo, waiting to be something else

  Photosynthesis is plant based, Primarily, and the reason we have oxygen at all.
