Coin seems too obvious but I'll go with it anyway, the other I've no idea.

    Correct BTB.

A heteronym (also known as a heterophone) is a word that has a different pronunciation and meaning from another word but the same spelling. These are homographs that are not homophones.

A heteronym is a word that has a different pronunciation and meaning from another word but the same spelling. These are homographs that are not homophones. Thus, lead and lead are heteronyms, but mean and mean are not, since they are pronounced the same.

Seems daft to quibble on this but that's never stopped me.

Surely herb and herb and job and job are more comparable to mean and mean than they are to lead and lead.

I'd have thought both herb and job are homonym's.

If we must use words everyone then has to look up then job, herb and polish are all capitonyms (as you say in a later post).
