    I was fortunate with the opening eagle and then to go 2 up. You deserved to bring it back to all square and then unlucky not to bird the last par 3 enabling me to go one up. Last hole could have went either way.

    Thanks again for the effort with the tribute to Dennis.

    Just played my match against Slimjim001 on the always challenging Merion.

    Was lucky enough to be able to make the first 2 hole long putts for Eagle and birdie.

    Jim then came back into the game.

    On the always tricky hole 17 I was able to keep the  shot fairly close to the hole.

    That's why I marcob300 won the match.

    Played a thrilling round with Jake at Merion B9 that went up and down for both of us.

    Jake was very unlucky with some edging putts but had a fantastic come back after been 3 down. 

    In the end I was the lucky one that night and won 1 up.

    Thank you Jake for a great time, for a very pleasant communication and easy arrangement.
