Been using the daytona forever should I upgrade to ghost or not?

Use a combo of mishit and aim if that matters.I could really use some help with my putting. Thanks

High, based on your current level and the fact you have a Daytona I would stick with what you have and maybe consider changing the putter when you reach level 92. If you are going to change the putter thats what  I would do. I have the lvl 35 Spider Ghost putter and its great which has less precesion. I will not change it until level 92+ and have everything else upgraded. But thats me. Whatever your choice have fun and hit them well!

I like the ghost better myself but don't buy it expecting it to play just like the daytona only better.. It plays quite differently and will take a number of games and lots of patients to adjust to it. Once you've figured it out though it's pretty sweet. Also, if you're going to mishit purposely to sink a putt don't aim, and If you aim don't mishit. Works for me most of the time anyway..

I have both, Daytona and Level 92, not much difference. After I reached level 92 went and bought the new ghost. Used it a few times and there it is, rusting. I was so used to the 15, 30, 60 scales that found it hard to putt well. Could be my fault. I stick to my guns... My regular partner in alternate uses it. He used the daytona, Ghost, Spider, etc. Tried them all and all are easy to ding one day and hard the next. I tried the new one a couple more times, but like the 30 ft scale more than 25... The same happens to me with other wedges, I keep using my old ones. Clevelands can be better but I stick to my satins and always get into a reasonable distance. Big changes can frustrate. For some is easy, for others is a lot harder, including me.

To Ghost or not to Ghost, that is the question?

You will get some great advise about that subject, but you will need to ask that question in your own mind too.

I use the Rossa and when the new ghosts came out, I was thinking should I get one (L92)..hmm. Then after having a huge fight with myself, i got to thinking.... I don't really need it, cause I putt really good(most of the time)..pity about the rest of me shots...lol.

I'm a miss the ding putter, except for straight and fast breaking greens and the putter I have(Rossa),  works like a dream...well most of the time...lol.

If in doubt...rent one and see how you go, but remember when renting something they will work better than the ones you buy (well I think anyway)... the scales will be different too, which can take some time to get the hang of.

    Good Luck

Can only speak from my experience.

Moved from the Daytonna to the level 84 ghost a couple of months back. Best thing I ever did on WGT. ( Subsequently moved to the level 92 Spider )

Noticed the difference the very first time I used it. I don't want to spoil the 'magic' of WGT by explaining what I realised, and I doubt that you'll notice the difference straight away , you'll just have to trust me. You will sink more putts, but may have to putt from the longer meters to hit the ding when you need it.

Daytona is one of the best putters out there...

Looking at your stats, I would suggest working on getting your approach shots a bit closer to the pin so that 1st putt is a little easier.

Putts can be missed just as easily witn lvl92 Ghost as they can with the starter putter so spending extra money is no guarantee of improvement.

Only practice is the sure-fire help to any shot here at wgt.

    Good luck.

It does. The 84 Ghost does not putt well by missing to aim. The same goes for the 92 Ghost.

IMO, the 92 Ghost improved on the 84 Ghost to the point that I think it's a fantastic putter if you take the time to learn it. A few rounds is not enough time. More like a few weeks.
