I'll just say that the Daytona is a very good putter, it's easy to work out distance because of it's scales, and overall is probably the best value for money putter available.

If you are a "putt to ding" putter, the Ghost Spider is better than the Rossa (L66 one, can't comment on the L92). The extra forgiveness of the club helps sink those putts where you are close to ding, that the Rossa normally lips out or misses totally.

If you ding every damn time you putt, then the Rossa is probably easier to handle due to the better distances on meter.

Personally I have lowered my putting stat from 1.58 to 1.50 since I upgraded my Rossa to Ghost Spider. That includes a transition to LG tees too...

So my question would be "if my putting average is currently below 1.6 (21.86/round) with the Daytona putter, what can I reasonably expect with the level 92 ghost putter?".  One stroke less per round?  Two?  C

It is not clear whether you are talking about the Daytona Ghost L84, Spider Ghost L66 or Spider Ghost L92.

First off the L92 Spider Ghost could be up to six months golf away from your current Level. For that reason I would forget about that putter for the time being.

The Daytona Ghost L84 has a much faster meter than the Daytona Rossa. It is now my putter of choice but only after weeks of using it.  It  had spent several months in my bag, I contemplated selling it back to the pro shop a number of times. I was not comfortable with the faster meter. It took me ages to finally trust myself with it.

You hinted that you need help putting. If that is the case I recommend you stay well clear of the Daytona Ghost (meter too fast).

The only other putter that may help you is the L66 Spider Ghost.  This putter has the same meter speed as your Daytona Rossa so the transition would be swift.

I have tried the L66 Spider Ghost at length and liked it more than the Daytona Rossa. At the time the Daytona Rossa had been my putter of choice.

NB:  And then I ditch the 2 of them and settle for the L84 Daytona Ghost.

Hit me up for a game and I should be able to help you a little more.

Is this the general consensus? Do people agree?

I'm getting lots of lip-outs at the mo, my fault not wgt. I may try renting it when I have more time to play and give it a go.

I do. For the 92Ghost,  missing to aim is not a good plan but the meter is slower so the ding is not that hard. It rolls very true, too.
