Oh, I did not understand. In any event, if wanted to watch them on a PC, or laptop, rather than phone, can do so with the emulators.  I did that for a while in a split screen, so I could still work, instead of using my phone.

I do not remember the videos ever working on my laptop, even when it was flash.

The True(x) videos were a great source of free credits, As was the Live Gamer carousel. You could get several hundred credits is less than an hour.  But like Richard said both have been gone for something like 5 years.

The surveys just rip me off or I don't know the secret. Usually after answering a hundred questions it tells me to get lost. Never again... lol

I totally agree with your opinion of the surveys. I got disqualified from so many, I started to keep track. After about 50 or so, I wrote a long email to WGT about having to take surveys to see if I qualified to take the survey designed to see what surveys I qualified for, which, IMO, was a survey.

My position was, each time I provided responses to the initial questions, to see if I was qualified to take the survey, which would qualify me to take the survey I was initially surveyed for, in a survey to see if I qualified for a survey, was, in fact, a survey, and by my count, entitled to over 3,000 credits for those surveys I took to see if I was qualified for the surveys that I could not take but wanted to take.

Eventually, after sending this email many times, I was credited over 3,000 credits. Following that, I then received an email from WGT asking if I would take a survey about their customer service.  In reply, I sent them a survey.

I did read in a thread recently, allegedly, the surveys are getting better. I am waiting to see what the survey shows of those people who are still taking surveys in order to qualify for surveys, assuming those are the ones being surveyed. Maybe, we should take a survey.

I to got tired of all the things you said. Finally I determined it was quicker and way more profitable to hit the I do not wish to continue line which appeared on 1/2 of them. Took seconds so I got lots of credits (5) eventually they suspended me even though I did nothing wrong.

The PC credits are hit and miss lately. Before Christmas and for about 10 days, I was earning 725 credits per day, yes per day, on the PC alone. Then there weren't any for 3 days. Today at 4 pm I got over 140 on the PC when 84 credits per day is normal. All I can say is keep trying, reboot your computer, clean cookies and cross your fingers.

During that same 10-day window, I earned 800 credits per day on my laptop and managed to finally upgrade my clubs from the WGT starter set to some very nice clubs, driver thru lob wedge & putter. Before the upgrade I was scoring in the mid 80's per round. After the upgrade, I score (officially) 68.60 per round. The laptop videos have allowed me to shave 17 points from my game, and I finally feel confident to join other players in Stroke Play. Happy, happy, joy, joy.

Since that 10-day stretch, the videos have been streaky. Some days nothing. Other days its 40-ish credits thru to the normal 80 credits per day on a laptop. Once or twice, I managed to earn 100-ish credits. I don't play the game on a phone.

Reading through the posts on this thread, there seems to be debate about a laptops ability to utilize videos for credits. I'm here to say that I've been watching videos for credits on a laptop since I rejoined WGT in November. Not sure why other laptop users are having issues, but, until recently, I've had no problems earning credits on my laptop.

Perhaps those laptops unable to watch videos for credits are outdated? That's the only reason I can think of as to why the video credits don't work for others playing on a laptop. It could be an obsolete flash player issue.

I tried, once again, today on my laptop.  I was unable to see any. I did get a message on bottom that said third party cookies may need to be enabled in browser for certain third-party provider.  I did not enable.. So, do not know if this is problem or not.

... Note, you can cookies here, but not in chat - LMAO

It really has nothing to do with the age of the computer or (especially) flash. I have a new 14-inch MacBook with the M1 Pro chip and flash is gone. There are (at least) three possibilities.

    1. It could be geographic. It depends on where one lives. Nevertheless, I connected through a VPN. It made no difference.

    2. It could be account related. In other words, for whatever reason, some accounts are blocked like they're blocked/suspended for surveys.

    3. It could simply be browser related. But I also tried different browsers and made sure allowing third-parties cookies was enabled. Again, no difference.

I don't know that there's a debate about whether or not the videos are available to some. It's simply the case that some are just not aware the option still exists for other players. That's all.

Some of these surveys and video's are not available to fill in or watch in the united kingdom and other countries as wgt is obviously usa biased .

Anyway you cut it ,its not fair to be so un-uniform. Why should some receive some not. I know it is their right but still not cool.

    Not exactly.

Some of the ads are geographic based. In other words, the ads are for companies within a specific geographic area. For example, I know I've seen ads that have been specific to my state or even regional area (such as local car dealerships). If that's the case, then why would they be available to players outside of those areas?

If you were a company in the state of Ohio (as an example) would you be paying for people to watch your ad in California, knowing they would never make a purchase?

Now, many of the ads are not quite so narrow. I get that. Even so, the products still might be limited to those in a particular country (such as the United States).

Of course, I can't say this is true for all of the ads. Anymore, I don't look that closely at them when they play. But if there is a U.S. bias, it probably has more to do with the fact that WGT is based in the U.S. It's just easier for them to sell advertising space to U.S.-based companies.

That's my take on it. But I suppose I could be wrong.
