It's their game and they can do as they wish. I'd just like them to be more upfront with their actions.

I dont believe for a second that clubs have been tampered with.  The TM 2.0's have always been errant when you miss a ding.  For those of you who are not consistent dingers, consider switching to the regular callaways if you are using the legend ones.  The regular balls seem to be more forgiving when you miss a ding.  I personally will sacrifice 3-4 yrds distance for more forgiveness and that is what i get IMO.

As far as the R11 irons, they are pretty sweet so far.  Much more stopping power on the longer irons.  Its taking some getting used to, but will be worth it in the end.  Thanks,

    WIlly

I shall address some of the concerns that have been expressed in the above posts.  For one thing, I do not believe for a second that wgt is on the wrong path.  The fact that the new top performing R11 irons offer but a small advantage over the similarly top performing Burner 2.0 irons does not mean that we, as players, are being milked, but reflect the fact that, even in real golf, improvements in equipment upgrades are usually subtle and attract only the most demanding players, who are willing to pay big money for those subtle improvements.  Are these new irons too good, leading to unrealistic scores?  Truth be told, ever since we started getting into sub-60 averages with leading legends (the most notable ones like dansamcam and bolloxinbruges outshining everyone with a staggering 56.xx average), we have entered the world of fantasy golf.  For those who want realism and be on the level with PGA tour players, they are free to downgrade their equipment or stick with moderately good clubs.  This is definitely a valid option.  For example, a player could settle for the lesser R11 set of clubs and do his or her best in the upper tiers, even legend.  Anyway, no matter what a player chooses, the golf experience remains a stimulating challenge that will yield great scores if and only if this player is skilled and focused to a high degree.

    All the best!
