The front 9 was very too & fro, I missed my 1st putt of the day, a 5 footer & thought "oh crappola, here we go! We were AS until the 5th where I went 1 up & it wasn't until the 10th that Ivan drove the green to set up for a nice eagle putt...back to AS... we tied the 11th after I drained a 25 ft birdie putt....then he goes & drives the green again on 12, setting up another great eagle putt! He goes 1 up....I'm starting to think....what do I have to do....I need an eagle.....My 2nd shot in on 13 is 166yds 13 - 15 x wind & I nail the shot to just under the cup 0 yds to set up an easy bird....he missed his bird attempt & we go back to AS....We both end up 60 yds out for our 3rd on the par 5 14th....I hit 1st....it felt sweet off the stick & dropped in the hole for an eagle!...he misses his shot & I go 1 up again....I stay 1 up until the 17th, where I drove into the rough, then hit into the bunker & finishing losing the hole with a bogey....back to AS on the 18th tee...The wind is a 15-18 tail breeze & Ivan steps up to drive....he cracks it to within 25yds of the hole below the pin....very nice drive...I think...it's the last hole....great breeze....stuff it....I'm going for the green....BOOOOOM...I smash my driver off a ding the heartbeat starts going....WOOHOO....this should be good....it landed short & rolled up to 7.3 ft for an eagle opportunity to win....he hit his approach to 4ft which was an easy birdie for him, the way that he was putting....I lined up & dropped my eagle putt for the win...
