Not sure if this is a topic but I have not made cuts on tournaments due to quitters is it an issue with others or am I doing something wrong? This has happened on numerous occasions.

Full disclosure I have had to quit games but have made apologies and then quit with the quit button not left the player needing a reconnection to continue.

    Please advise me.

    Thank you.

That is very unfortunate and not in the spirit of the game. Sadly its something we have all dealt with.

Write to WGT CS via this link https://m.wgt.com/help/request?ref=wgt or the one in the app and request a refund of your entrance fee.  Playing anything above Rookie is a big risk to your credits because of quitters and the 3 bogey glitch which still exists and isn't 100% addressed.  I think everyone who has played in the Showdowns has been hit by this glitch.

I understand and agree 100% with you, and like you I have had occasions in which I had to quit early, kids , wife , dogs etc lol. I also let players know up front I am sorry and have to go. I play mobile IOS on IPAD and do not see a button that allows me to quit. I have to just get off and I know it has to frustrate my fellow players. Question what am I missing?

    Thanks

To forfeit properly, click on the golf course icon on the upper left of the screen then click End Round on the lower left of the screen, and you'll be given the choice of continuing or withdrawing.  Withdraw to forfeit.

The showdowns can result in issues when someone quits. Easy fix is eliminate pairing let us play solo. The coins are mostly an afterthought anyway.

Part of the problem with incorporating coin room drama into the showdown is your opponent doesn't even know you're in a tournament and that their leaving may cause you issues.

Pretty sure the showdown issue with forfeiters has been fixed , the last couple of showdowns I have played , I have had quitters but been allowed to continue on my own to enter my score

The Showdown issues (plural) with forfeiters have NOT been fixed.  See THIS POST for details of just one example from the most recent Showdown.

I see your point samspayed , I wonder if it is behaving differently now depending on whether you are a PC user or mobile ?  Seems ridiculous that it still exists after such a long time !
