A fellow WGT player has inadvertently downloaded Windows 11 onto a laptop. When a game was setup now there is no wind, elevation or ball spin indicators. The game was uninstalled then reinstalled to no avail. There is nothing in WGT settings to correct this issue.

To verify the issue was strictly on the laptop he logged into WGT on a desktop computer and there were no issues.

Any assistance in this urgent matter would be greatly appreciated so that the game can be enjoyed.

Hi Scott, I appreciate the response. The player can only see "Restore default" in settings. Also, will the reset delete his playing history as he has been a WGT member for 12 years?

Absolutely not. All player records are stored at WGT's end and these are not affected in any way by the reset.

You need your password and login username to hand as the reset will log you out of the game.

If not for everything else, WGT should be paying for life Scott just only for the reset script.

Cheers Yiannis, it's surprising how something so small can achieve so much.  ; )

It's amazing how things are getting simpler when handled by people who they know what they are doing.

I do a good impression of someone who appears to know what they are doing, but so many mistakes get swept under the carpet I have to walk uphill to get to my desk, lol!  ; ))

If you have to walk uphill to get to your desk, then others have to climb to Everest from earth's core...

One thing you could try is running WGT in compatibility mode for a previous version of Windows. To do this, right-click on the WGT shortcut, select "Properties," go to the "Compatibility" tab, and check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for," then choose a previous version of Windows from the dropdown menu.
