I couldn't agree more with what YJ has to say. SA is very challenging but when you get off that course and go to Bethpage, you will get your hinney kicked bad because it plays so much differently. Kiawah will do the same thing because it is so much different than SA. Broaden the experiences, as I need to do, or pay the piper down the road. I moved into master on St. Andrews, love to play that course, but then I go into Bethpage on a club tournament and get extremely frustrated because I can't shoot at least 3 or 4 under. NOw I have to spend a lot of time on the other courses in ranked play, because it is already set up for my tier, in order to even be competitive with my friends when we play heads up golf.
oh, if you don't do that, plan on having a budget for balls!! you will lose a few!
