It looks like the newly crowned Andyson Memorial 2023 Matchplay Champion jerseyjake72 has forgotten he's still in the stroke play event and didn't post a score on PGA National. That means that he unfortunately is eliminated. The remaining players move on to Erin HIlls. With the cut line now at -14 (58), this should be a tough test. Just to remind everyone, if no players make the cut they will all play one last round on Best of Hardest full 18 the following week to determine the winner. Full details will be given if the situation arises.
And finally, as already mentioned, earlier today jerseyjake72 beat WildCoast 3&2 in the final of the Andyson Memorial 2023 matchplay event and is crowned champion; jerseyjake will be receiving his prize and trophy just as soon as the engraving is done. I wasn't able to watch the game live, but I watched highlights later and jake was on fire, missing only 3 putts the whole round. Well done to both finalists for making it a great game, and thank you also to all the spectators watching the live stream.
