    The only thing that amazes me is how fast the program adjust to mess with you on the greens.

    Last night I finally had the breaks down  by using a ruler, I was making putts out of my mind, I could not miss.

    now we are talking a ruler, math, exact measurements , today I am fighting to save par.

    UN BELIEVABLE.

    I never putted with a ruler :-)) Sounds like you got zapped by the dreaded VEM.

    TeeWade:
    Just another online golf game that fraudulently advertises that it is a realistic golf game simulation

    Fraudulent?? That's a good one.

    It's painfully obvious you have no idea how the variables work in this game or the intent of VEM. Did it ever occur to you that one influences the other? That they work in conjunction? Have you ever watched live golf on TV and seen the exact same thing as you see here, complete with shots that hit the pin and wind up a mile away from the hole, putts that inexplicably lip out or stop short, shots that  completely surprise the pro? How about Tiger Woods putting one in the water last Saturday because a gust of wind surprised him and knocked his shot down? You didn't see him crying foul.

    Find a golf simulation that eclipses what WGT has put together and is more realistic. It might lend some credence to your opinion.

    I think you read that wrong Yankee. TeeWade was simply saying that people can't say its unrealistic when just as you put it about Woods slapping one into the water things like that happen here on Wgt. I had to read it twice myself until I got the true intent of TeeWade's message. He is simply saying We can't have it both ways- Can't yell its not realistic and can't say it is realistic.......... because both attributes are present. With that in mind, might I also add that the word Shot should of been put in front of the word Deviations to read Shot Deviations / Vem and that no implication to The Deviations controlling this game was intended. We all know and respect The Deviations club as individuals and as a club for their abilities and no reference to them was being made in TeeWade's Statement. He was simply talking Shot Deviations.

    Merry Christmas ,

    I went back and read it 4 more times, trying to see what he is saying your way. Doesn't work because the DevCC isn't in play. He's talking about the deviations in the game as if they were something entirely different than VEM. Are deviations causing the random goofy shots or is VEM-that's what I see him saying you can't have both ways. This is why I don't believe he fully understands their relationship. And yes, they work together to create the realism we see.

    I agree with you that there is a relationship between the two and glad we cleared that up!  I hope you and your family have a beautiful Christmas Jim <smile>

    LOL. That's old school, spray. It's all digital now-the square, the protractor and the angle finder. Love it.  :-)

    @bootsie-Likewise, dear heart.  ;-)
