Hey Nico. Don't know if other members are experiencing the same issues, but can't change my avatar. The skin colours are weird. The game is stuttering a lot and my player is standing in a ball of light when teeing off. Can't see the player or the ball when tracking it towards the hole. Hopefully these glitches will get sorted soon. Makes playing the game really unpleasant.

Very poor release, the putting animations are now terrible, specifically on short putts, the balls are constantly in the shade and the player avatar is cartoonish

Who the hell QA'd this release !!!!!

Way to Kamala the game WGT.  Utterly brilliant!!!

They should hire Cadet Bone Spurs to fix it. He knows more than the programmers.

You may have over-worked the avatar as they continue to move until the club is drawn back. It kinda makes you wanna say "Stand still and hit the ball" especially for slow players. Before they had a brief shuffle but stood still until hitting the ball. Just sayin'

    Cheers

This morning I'm seeing black dots in the middle of the screen and the print on the scorecard is a light gray--almost unreadable.

Edit--having a closer look, it appears the dots are only on the avatar. Anyone else seeing this?

The meter is awful after update.

Sputtering and skipping no matter which ball or how many times you let the meter go to the end it does not work properly.

Entire screen shakes violently on all shots.

Please correct this asap as this makes the game play a joke.

    Thanks,

    Michael

Hey Michael... just posted the same thing in my CC Forum. I can handle the bright pink avatar but the meter stutter makes it very difficult to play.

Well...  the avatar animation changes are pretty bad, but here's hoping they will work on them.  I think they felt the new faces looked more "realistic" but what's with the caveman eyebrows?  And, weird as it sounds, I don't like that my guy looks a lot less "friendly" than he was.  Also, as long as they are tinkering with avatar customization, why can't they present more options for hair length and maybe even addition of facial hair (for us gray beard older guys)?  Having said all this, I could live with the avatar weirdness but find the swing/stroke animation jerkiness to be really distracting and unacceptable.  On full shots, it looks like my guy's clubs sling the ball down the fairway rather than hit it (this isn't Jai alai, WGT!!).  Worst of all is the stroke animation on the greens.  My guy doesn't take a smooth putting stroke anymore - instead, he kind of jabs at the ball and it really looks unacceptably weird and unrealistic.  No golf coach would let you jab at the ball like that.

In the end, I don't love the new version but figure they will work to smooth things out.  What's really needed is some investment in new courses.  I know how difficult and expensive course production must be but seriously... they can't add a few new courses every now and then.  That would be SUCH a welcome improvement.
