Well, it is time for me to put my two cents in.  Purely from an economic point of view.  The high price tournaments, 1000, 2000 and the 5000 credit entry fee tournaments, coupled with the price of golf balls makes any player think twice before playing.  Looking outside the box (sort of speak), if one had a bad round, he/she could be out 1/2 the entry fee which is significant at the higher level RG's.

This site has done well because the standard  RG's are tangible. The 100 credit entry fees, having a bad round means one only looses 50 credits, and if one withdraws only 100 credits.  Now consider a player wishing to participate in this arena, he/she will not be shelling out 1000 credits just to throw away.  The more players participating in the RG's means more $$ for WGT.   Thus, from my previous post, doesn't it make sense to increase participation by looking at their entry fee requirements.  By all means, make the RG's interesting, but don't kill the participation by limiting the number of participants on the higher priced RG's.

Here is a thought, that might prove interesting.  Since we have some weekly tournaments that are multi-round, why not incorporate that idea into some of the ready goes.  Thus, from my previous thread, make the 500 credit RG's a multi-round tournament lasting 4 days.

Just my thoughts, not that anyone listens anyway, LOL

Why don't you tell me what settings you prefer and I'll see what I can do about that. I do take requests once in a while :)

Just remember, everyone else will have the same settings:)

Nevermind the course, but mixed tee shot(5 holes from the back tees,5 from master tee 5 from pro´s tee and 3 from hack) and introducing also fast -standard- and slow greens.....belive me, sometimes is a nightmare to switch from tourny greens to slow....

    moderate or low wind!

Yes! Now that's a good idea. I love the multirounds and would like to see more of them. In ready go format would be alot of fun

I think the fun factor makes them fill up faster, the 1k at Cabo is a hoot, people just love eagles whether that be driving a par 4 or sticking it in tight on a par 5 in 2 shots, so having a blast makes up for not winning if you play the odd loose shot.

In high winds it is widely accepted that a good wind set v a bad wind set can be worth approx 6 shots on the card especially on RSG and SA, so in a high stakes RG that will certainly slow the fill up rate. Many people like the challenge, and yes over time it may even itself out and those with deep credit hoards can take the peaks and troughs, but for players who dont have thousands of credits stashed away, who aspire to play the higher stakes the wind lottery may make them think twice.

I would like to see some tier specific high stakes RG's, that way WGt can throw in shorter tees and slower green speeds on demand, need to slow down those champ speeds on KI, the cross grid views and breaks near the hole just seem overwhelmed by the glass green speeds, way too many 'wtf' results on the greens there makes it far from fun.

Icon, I think the low wind ones fill up faster because everyone has the same scoring opportunities.  Bet most people would enjoy the highwind challenge if they knew their competition faced the same challenges each go.

Since you are taking requests, and both wgt and its players want to see rdygos cycle faster, here is a request.

Can you ask for them to create a 500+ credit 18 hole highwind Readygo with same winds for all 50 players.  Everytime it filled up and cycled,  have the winds changed , but all 50 would have the same conditions  as their opponents each time it came around.  Then wgt could easily judge the support for this format based on how fast it cycled.

I'm betting it would be very popular at least in the beginning. If same players won everytime as been suggested, sure it would fall off certainly, but no harm in giving it a try?

If  the powers that be decide to do it, post a link to let us know and no doubt you'd see it fill up rapidly.

couple more 500 RG's wouldn't go a miss....they seem to be really popular no matter the conditions.

Reason being that 500 will not be such a big loss if you have a stinker, but on the other hand, if you play well, you can lift the tidy sum of 3k/$30

Just another 2 will do wgt...or 3 if you really want to :)

I think they should make it that there are no ties, use the tie breaker format all the way down the tournament not just for first place.
