I doubt there's even 50 players who would happily risk 5k credits on one round. Anyway, great round Froggie.

This post has not been deleted as previously said by somebody who hasn't got a reply option to their post...lol

$50 R/Go would not surprize one little bit.

yeah i was chuffed my-self to see it and played it 1st day also

cannot believe their has only been 15 entrants so far...

i know its 5k but their is alot of players out there who have ample cred's to play this

been surprised but i honestly think it's because alot of players are getting used to their nike's before playing...hope this is the case anyhow, would like to see this as a permanent fixture

Steve I think there are a few out there who are just looking at it from a risk v return perspective and deciding it's not for them. I include myself in that category.

I know that if I play the same ready go a dozen times, I will be ahead in credits. Along the way however I may flunk a few, be average in a few, double up in a few and top 3 in some as well. The problem is I have no idea what will come first, success or failure. At 5,000 credits a go, a dozen entries would exhaust my credits, in the worst case scenario. Even finishing outside the top 15 would see my credit bank half in a very short period of time.

The bottom line for me is I ain't risking it until I return to form that sees me with better odds than I have now.

I was chatting with bulfrog when the new updates came out and we were talking about the new stuff.  He is like  "new balls, cool "  and in the bag they went.   new 50.00 readygo cool, I'm starting it now.    LOL I thought new balls, new update oh this isnt going to be good.  Then bulfrog says," shot a 57 , i like the balls." ( my jaw dropped)

Bulfrog has such incredible natural ability, he worked out the new balls on the fly.  Me on the otherhand, 3 days and still trying to get the backspin sorted out on them.

Goodluck to all you guys who give it a go

Lol Don thanks for the kind words the Nike's for me aren't much different than the Callys I rarely used full BS with the Cally's so these play almost as true as the Cally's but just go a Tad farther.  I think the thing about the $50 RG is a lot of the top players like to attempt to play the RGs last minute with the hope of ninja'ing the leader and stealing the victory away.  That and there is a lot of fear that the tournament won't fill up before the end of the year and most don't want to tie up their credits for that long.  I look at it like who cares how long it takes to fill I have plenty of credits and it will pay out when it pays out.  Just my $.02 I enjoy the Christmas $50 special thanks Icon :).
