Two questions you need to ask yourself.  Meter speed; what you are comfortable with, and long term.  Ping raptures is a good starting point, and when you turn pro upgrade your putter to the Redwood.  The Ping Raptures have a marginal increase in meter speed, so it would be a good place to start.

I am considering buying full set of Rapture V2 Pro clubs with both Snakeyes wedges and redwood putter. Any thoughts on this combination of clubs?

You can do better on the wedges. The Satin wedges are all higher accuracy irons.

    Ivan,

Your best place to start would be HERE.

Wedges are the part of the game that is very personal to each player and playing style.

Do the research and think about how you play to decide what to buy.

    Happy hitting

I bought the Rapture clubs (both sets) as soon as the game would let me. Looking back, that was probably a mistake. The slow meter of the Raptures in no way prepared me for the faster meter of the Taylor Made/Ping drivers and irons. If I had it to do over again, I would have started with the faster meter clubs. Wedges are another matter....I have Ping wedges and Taylor Made wedges....I've found the PIng's are more in line with my style of play and meet the yardage requirements that my drives produce. I have a mixed bag of wedges (just like my real bag)....mostly Ping, but I can't do without the 64 degree/50 yd Taylor Made wedge.

Soulcatcher said it right and that link is a must. However, the Satin 64w is one of my favorite clubs because it is so versatile up close. I like the fast meter on everything because you will get used to it and the accuracy is your reward. JMO-GL

i agree100% with you YJ the taylor made 64* wedge is the best scoring club in the entire game. master that club and start going low, basically imune to wind and very precise.
